Fields of Reading is part of the largest family owned painting and decorating company in the South of England. We are the small-contracts painting division and specialise in residential projects.

Fields originally started as a sign painting company in Nottingham in 1925. From there the company was bought by William Vaughan and set up as a painting and decorating operation based in Eldon Square, Reading. Further bases were opened in London, Salisbury and Birmingham.

Most of our painting and decorating contracts are based around London and the South East and are concentrated within the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hampshire corridor.

Our parent company, AC Beck has undertaken contracts as far afield as France, Germany and Holland for a variety of clients.
